The biggest surprise of the Early Signing Period was the signing of a transfer quarterback, Zeb Noland from Iowa State University.
Noland played in five games this season for the Cyclones, throwing for 722 yards, four touchdowns and one interception.
Noland will have two years of eligibility remaining. He’ll enter a quarterback room that has redshirt freshman Holden Hotchkiss and Noah Sanders along with true freshman Trey Lance.
Noland will be on campus in early January and will participate in NDSU’s spring football drills.
