North Dakota State led Duke 25-24 with 2:34 to play in the first half after a Vinnie Shahid drive and foul. That seemed to wake up the Blue Devils, who led 31-27 at the half and then really got going in the second half.

Freshman phenom Zion Williamson, who had just ten first half points, erupted for 15 second half points, with some thunderous dunks, a three-pointer and some highlight reel moves and before you knew it, Duke was ahead 50-32 and they never looked back.

NDSU shot just 27 percent from 3-point range as Shahid led the Bison with 20 points. RJ Barrett actually led Duke with 26 points, while Cam Reddish added in 12.

Jordan Horn was the only other Bison in double figures with 11 points. Rocky Kreuser and Sam Griesel were held to six combined points, a big reason why NDSU came up short.

The Bison end the season with a mark of 19-16.

Joel Sipper, Jeff Kolpack and Mike McFeely recap the game from Columbia.
