North Dakota State received some tough news Wednesday as sophomore running back Seth Wilson will miss the 2019 season with a torn ACL. Wilson was injured last Friday in a non-contact drill. It was feared that it was a serious injury and that was confirmed earlier this week.
The onus may fall now on redshirt freshman Saybein Clark, who appeared in four games last year, scoring a touchdown in the regular season finale against Southern Illinois. Jeff and I visit about that and the other running backs that could get more reps.
On the offensive line, Jalen Sundell is a name to watch at tackle. The Maryville, Missouri native is 6’5, 287 pounds and was earning reps at the starting right tackle spot. Sundell comes from a huge athletic family, his dad was a great basketball player at Northwest Missouri State and his mom was a terrific basketball player as well.
Jeff and I detail more on Sundell and some other basketball news in the latest blog.
